The project ‘FUTURAGE: A Roadmap for Ageing Research’ is realized from consortia of 23 organizations from 17 countries. Coordinator is the University of Sheffield – United Kingdom, Director of the project – Prof. Alan Walker. The financing is from Seventh Framework Programme of European commission. The Bulgarian part of the project is realized from the team of 3 experts from the Institute for population and human research to the Bulgarian academy of Sciences. The term of the project is 2 years – September 2009 - September 2012 (extended to December 2011).
FUTURAGE aims to produce a definitive road map that will guide European research on ageing for the next 10-15 years.

Ccoordinator is the University of Sheffield – United Kingdom, Director of the project – Prof. Alan Walker. The financing is from Seventh Framework Programme of European commission. The Bulgarian part of the project is realized from the team f of 8 experts from the Institute for population and human research to the Bulgarian academy of Sciences. The term of the project is 3 years – April 2009 - April 2012.
The goal is to ensure that the key stakeholders regionally, nationally and European are engaged in the activities of ERA-AGE and thereby contributing to the research response to the ageing challenge.
